Interestingly, the title "Terada Katsuya: The Complete Works" was decided upon years ago. It came to me one cold winter night, whispered by a green angel by my bedside. Originally conceived for a CD-ROM art collection proposal from another publisher, the title stuck. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, that project never materialized, leaving the title floating in limbo. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), this edition by Kodansha is now seeing the light of day.
Now, when we say "complete works," we mean it in the loosest sense of the term. Life isn't that sweet, after all. So, nestled between "Terada Katsuya" and "The Complete Works," there's a little unspoken "mostly" or "to a certain extent." Please forgive the slight misrepresentation on the signboard. Maybe one day we'll meet again with "Terada Katsuya: The Remaining Complete Works." No? Not interested? ── Terada Katsuya. 298page.
